Whisper of Love

I walked down an old country road, winding turns and gravel on the road, sunlight shining through the clouds, The road wasn’t perfect, neither was I.

I spent time talking to the Lord and listening, that’s where I grew closer to Him. A cool breeze flows through the leaves of the trees, a small still voice, a whisper of love, “I AM here, you’re not alone.”

I walked down the path for so long and came to many forks in the road, didn’t know which way to go, to the right or the left, just didn’t know the way to go.

A cool breeze flows through the leaves of the trees, a small still voice, a whisper of love, “Don’t go to the right or the left, keep walking on the straight and narrow path leading directly home to the open arms of my Love.”

I lifted my eyes to the sky and saw a mountain standing so high, didn’t have the strength to climb. Bowed my head and lifted a prayer. A cool breeze flows through the leaves of the trees, a small still voice, a whisper of love, “Turn your eyes to the Cross of Calvary, see the strength that was needed, my child.”

I AM here, you’re not alone. Keep walking on the straight and narrow path leading directly home to the open arms of my Love. Give me your hand and let me lead, because you’re valuable to me.
